  3. Thank you for purchasing this CD-ROM. We appreciate your
  4. business. We hope that you find the use of this CD-ROM both easy
  5. and exciting.

  7.              !!! YOU MUST INSTALL THE SOFTWARE !!!

  9. To install the ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System, go to the
  10. starting directory of your CD-ROM drive and type "GO COLOR" or
  11. "GO MONO".  If your CD-ROM drive letter is S:, for example, you
  12. would enter the following commands:

  14. C:\> S:
  15. S:\> CD \
  16. S:\> GO COLOR
  17.  
  18. After this is done, the ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System  will
  19. execute.  At this time you should choose option 6 on the menu to
  20. install the software onto your hard disk. You MUST DO THIS
  21. before running any other option on the program. The install
  22. option on the menu creates the directories \gameware, \gameware\work
  23. and \gameware\unzip on the destination drive. It then writes a
  24. batch file called install.bat. It then moves you to that drive
  25. and into the gameware directory on the destination drive. At this
  26. point, the user should execute the install.bat before doing
  27. anything else. This will install the files and give you some
  28. preliminary instructions on how to execute the ShareWare OnLine
  29. Retrieval System.

  31. The ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System will not run without the
  32. installation. Please install it. We hope you will appreciate its
  33. speed and versatility.

  35. Once installed, the ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System will allow
  36. you to effortlessly copy and view PKZip Archives and Gif
  37. pictures. With PKZip archives you can copy, unzip and view
  38. contents. With Gif pictures you can copy and view. Yes, you can
  39. look at the pictures, if you have a VGA monitor, directly off
  40. the CD-ROM. There is tagging for copying and unzipping multiple
  41. files from the CD-ROM. We think you will like it.
